This Privacy Policy explains how PEMA Travel ("we", "us"), based in Filderstadt, Stuttgart, Germany, processes personal data when you use www.pematravel.com, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the German Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG).

2. Data we process

  • Search data: origin, destination and dates you enter in our search tools.
  • Contact data: any information you send us by email.
  • Cookie and tracking identifiers, including affiliate tracking parameters.

3. Purposes and legal bases

  • Providing and securing the website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR — legitimate interest).
  • Forwarding searches to booking partners (Art. 6(1)(b)/(f) GDPR).
  • Analytics and affiliate attribution (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR — your consent).

4. Consent management

Marketing and affiliate tracking scripts are only loaded after you actively accept them in our consent banner, as required by § 25 TDDDG. Until then no non-essential cookie or identifier is set. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time via “Cookie settings” in the footer, with effect for the future.

5. Partners and third countries

We are a comparison site. When you click a search result or offer you are redirected to a booking partner, who then acts as an independent controller under their own privacy policy. Some partners may process data outside the EU/EEA on the basis of the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.

6. Retention

We keep server log data for a maximum of 30 days and cookie-based identifiers for the lifetime described in our Cookie Policy, unless statutory retention periods apply.

7. Your rights

  • Access, rectification, erasure and restriction (Art. 15–18 GDPR).
  • Data portability (Art. 20 GDPR) and objection (Art. 21 GDPR).
  • Withdrawal of consent at any time, with effect for the future.
